1. UW and FoW forever. Europe just hogs the favor sooooooo damn much. I really wish this would be instituted not just for the weekend, or at least let every region get the favor for two hours or so every day.
2. Double Glad Points. In addition to getting double glad points (obviously) this also causes a massive congregation of noobs, yielding an even higher chance of glad points. 3. Double XP from caps. I know many people think this is worthless, but I need to get that damn Legendary Survivor -.- 4. Gamer weekend. Meh, I'm just addicted to beetle rolling. |

No Factions or Nightfall anything! No recall! No Rits! No Paragons! No Melandru's! No Corrupted Isle! No Jade Isle! GvG could possibly own for a weekend! 5 wins = a glad point weekend. Now this one would really help me farm my epeen size some more. 1100 = champ point weekend - meh, dunno... i mean, it makes more sense than a double champ point weekend which only 22 or so guilds could compete in. First I'd like to say: I like how diverse the weekends are becomming. It's the spice of life ya know! You all are doing a great job with these weekends, I really look forward to each of them.
My Top Five as requested: 1 Elite Missions (I played a ton those weekends!) 2 The Fissure of Woe and The Underworld (This should be great!) 3. Unique (green) drops (I love getting those greens for my hero's!) 4. Rare Chest Loot (Almost went #3, I love those weekends sooo much.) 5. Any special (NEW) item drop weekend. Ale's, Shamrocks ect. (It's to much fun to run around with friends looking for these items.) My idea for a weekend? Since you asked. New Bosses in old area's. Put a new level 28 boss in Talus Chute for example. Give him a few to five level 24 critters to help him. Give him a new drop or a drop from a like boss in tyria. The drop should be green and either have the same stats as a current item with just a different name. Make a whole theme. "The Hill Giants are taking over the Southern Shiverpeaks this weekend, stop them!" Rare Chest Loot |

I've enjoyed the weekends that allow access to content which is normally unvailable the most. (Elite mission, UW/FOW, Shing Jea Boardwalk and special games)
The double drops/double faction really don't mean much to me because it doesn't really change the game significantly. We can farm drops and faction anytime. We can get more of it on the weekend events, but still it's the same old thing. Since you asked for ideas, here are a few. How about some special contests on the weekend. Perhaps something similiar to the roller beetle racing you offered recently. I tried the roller beetle game and soon discovered that I was absolutely no good at it, so that event really didn't do much for me, but I liked the concept of competing against others for prizes in something other than the standard fights. With that concept in mind, here are my suggestions..... - Special Challenge Mission weekend. The Teams with the top 5 scores in the Dragon Throat mission win rare sigils or weapons. - Scavenger Hunt Weekend. A special NPC character spawns in LA for the weekend. He offers a quest where you must bring him 40 different items. Once you deliver all 40 items to him you obtain a special reward. (Similiar to the chef requirements, but in this case you must collect all the items yourself) |
